Phase 6April 2026
Discover Mah Meri Cultural Heritage
In April, ACCA, ICAEW, and ACCAV students shifted their focus to supporting the economic empowerment of the Mah Meri community. Acting as a third-party support team, the students helped market the Mah Meri craft, ubi kayu, with the aim of increasing visibility and sales beyond the local community. They were involved in promoting the product, managing customer inquiries, and reaching potential buyers.
The students also handled order collection and were responsible for calculating prices and profits to ensure fair returns for the Mah Meri people. This initiative was carried out efficiently within a four-week period and successfully concluded on 25 April 2026. The project achieved its objectives and was considered a success, providing both practical learning for the students and meaningful economic support for the Mah Meri community.
