Phase 3November 2025
Community Aid Mission
On 1 November 2025, a community survey was conducted with approximately 80 participants from the Mah Meri village. The survey aimed to gather valuable information about the community's needs, experiences and priorities to support the planning of future SULAM initiatives. The participation achieved represented almost the entire population of the village, allowing the team to obtain meaningful and comprehensive feedback from the community.
Students played a highly active role throughout the programme and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility in carrying out their assigned duties. They assisted the Mah Meri community members in understanding and answering the survey questions, particularly those who required further explanation or guidance. Their patience, communication skills and willingness to help ensured that the survey process was inclusive, respectful and accessible to all participants.
From October to December 2025, the team also received generous sponsorship contributions and prepared more than 100 rice packages, with each package containing 5 kg of rice. Community members who completed the survey received a rice package as a token of appreciation for their participation. In addition, students and families received various educational resources, including stationery, laptops, coloured pencils and other learning materials.
The programme was carried out smoothly through effective planning, teamwork and cooperation between the SULAM Committee, students, and the Mah Meri community. The students' active involvement contributed significantly to the success of the day, while the strong response from the community enabled the team to reach approximately 80 recipients and engage with nearly the entire village population.
